Welfare Advice Service

Our Welfare Advice Service is run by trained advisers who understand the issues facing parents who have a child with cancer. They can answer any questions, from money issues to problems at work, housing and consumer rights, and carry out full financial checks to see what benefits young cancer patients and their families may be entitled to. Our welfare advisers can offer expert support and advice on a range of issues, including:

benefits

tax

housing issues

consumer issues with utility companies

how to manage debt

your rights at work

immigration (in relation to benefits only)

family, relationship and legal advice

The service is free and confidential. We‘re here to help young cancer patients and their parents understand and protect their rights, navigate the maze of benefits and other financial support provided by the government, and to make sure they get the help they’re entitled to.
